Step #2 - Submit Your Contact Information Click here to provide your contact information and a school representative will contact you by phone or email within 72 hours. Once your information is received, a free information packet will be sent to you.
Step #3 - Read, Research and Digest Carefully read all the materials provided for you. Consider how IHHC may help you achieve your educational goals. From time to time, FREE teleconferences are scheduled with Dr. Mary Jo Ruggieri, founder and director of IHHC. If you wish to take part in this interactive teleconference, please call the main office at 614-299-9438 to register. Step #4 - Schedule a Phone Meeting Once you are ready to take the next, set up an appointment for a phone conference with a school representative. At this time topics such as financing, important sections of the school catalog, specific requirements and more will be discussed in great detail.Step #5 - Schedule Office Visit At this time, you will meet face-to-face with Recruting Director Letitia Bunge in Columbus or Office Manager Lauren Pitts in Cleveland. This step is a requirement in order for your application to be accepted. This appointment must be set in advance - walk-ins will not be accepted.Step #6 - Schedule a School Tour / Class Visit All prospective students are welcome to schedule a school tour / class visit. You may sit in as a guest for up to 3 hours in many of our classes to get a feel if IHHC is right for you. This also provides an opportunity to meet our student body and members of the faculty. Remember to schedule this visit as Walk-ins are not permitted. This step is not required but is strongly encouraged.Steps #1 - #6 can be accomplished as quickly or as slowly as you wish. Pursuing higher education is a big decision and commitment. IHHC encourages you to take as much time as you need to feel truly comfortable with becoming part of our student body.
Please keep in mind that the deadline for registration is two full weeks before the class begins. For example, if class begins on the 14th then all enrollment processes must be completed by the 1st. Some exceptions can be made from time to time but this is taken on a case by case basis and no guarantees will be made as to admittance into the class. So You've Decided to Enroll - Now What?Well first, we welcome you to our Holistic Community. Below you will find the steps to be officially admitted to IHHC. Step #7 - Application Fill out completely and submit appropriate application to a school representative. Incomplete applications will be automatically deniedStep #8 - Application Fee and Deposit Pay appropriate application fee and deposit. Varies for each program. No application will be accepted without completion of this step.Step #9 - Background Check Due to the nature of energy and bodywork taught here at IHHC, all students must pass a background check in order to be accepted. Each background check will be addressed on a case by case basis. The nature of criminal history is taken into account and the presence of a criminal history does not necessarily disqualify any student. Step #10 - Required FormsSubmit all required forms with proper signatures. This includes but is not limited to the State of Ohio Disclosure form and IHHC Formal Enrollment Agreement.Step #11 - Payment Arrange payment for the class and its associated fees. If a payment plan is desired, applicants must pass a credit check for approval. All forms and financial agreements must be signed at this time.Step #12 - Congratulations! Once you receive your formal acceptance letter, you are an official student of IHHC. For HHP and RPP students, a meeting with your student advisor to plan your schedule will be set up at this time.
For Students on the Fast Track If you are a student that wishes to move this process along as quickly as possible, the steps can be combined in the following manner:Steps #1 - #4 can typically be completed in 2 business days or lessSteps #5 - #8 and #10 - #11 can be completed at the same timeStep #12 cannot be completed until the results from step #9 have been confirmed. Though sometimes this process proceeds more quickly, please allow 7 - 10 business days for completion.Allow a minimum of two weeks to complete all the necessary requirements to enroll at IHHC. |
