Holistic Wellness Approach

Detoxification Retreat

Overview

The wellness industry is exploding, with programs now being offered at schools, in the workplace, online, at medical institutions and numerous other public places.

Wellness is based on detoxification because body toxicity has been linked to skin conditions and obesity, energy level and mood, conditions such as candida overgrowth, and serious disease including cancer.

Course Description

The Holistic Wellness Approach to Healthcare is presented in two three-day modules as part of a retreat in assessment, detoxification, cleansing and preventative care.

Through this course the HHP student will learn to assist, educate, organize, consult and design wellness programs for individual clients and/or consumers. Students will be introduced to all areas of wellness systems and programs. This class does not include bodywork.

Due to the nature of this course, classes for this particular program are held off-campus in a retreat environment. This is a required course of study for the HHP Program, but is also open to the general public, so other interested students may apply for acceptance into this training program.
