When I first decided to take polarity, I'd already had several years of training in energy medicine. The IHHC courses brought a whole new dimension into my work which clients really responded to, and it makes me truly happy that I can offer this work to them. Polarity has become much, much more than just another tool in my toolkit.

I had been working as a wellness coach for a few years, introducing juicing, empowerment, etc., and was looking for a certification program that was more than a workshop- something that would teach me how to help myself and others live a holistic lifestyle. I wanted to find a school offering the classes I really wanted to take- and it had to be affordable.
Through a chance meeting I was introduced to IHHC. What I am learning at the school is taking me and my clients to a new level of health and wellness through self-care.
I live in Louisville KY, and attend school in Columbus, OH. I must say those 3 hour drives have become the best investment I have made for myself and my practice.

Before discovering Polarity, I had spent 10 years on a self-healing quest and experienced many forms of holistic and complementary healing modalities. I was intrigued with each type of healing, and briefly studied many of them... until the next one came along. I couldn’t decide on any one particular modality to study in depth until I had my first Polarity session in early 2004. After all I had experienced, it was Polarity which ultimately stood out for me as the most profound healing work I had ever experienced.
Polarity not only helped me regain my health, it also has given me a profession. I completed my RPP training in 2006, incorporated my business in 2007, became faculty in 2008, and in 2010 I will be opening a holistic health center based on the energetic concepts of Ayurveda and Polarity. I am so grateful to have found Polarity and for the transformations it has brought to my life. I am honored to be a Polarity therapist and educator and I see Polarity as the perfect vehicle for helping others attain whatever level of healing they seek.

I’ve always known there was more to health than what conventional medicine offers. After obtaining my 2nd degree Reiki I began searching for ‘something else’ and came upon the school’s website. After one phone call I signed up for the associate polarity therapy class and a brand new world opened up to me. Once I completed that, I took the Reflexology class, and then soon enrolled in advanced classes.
I am happy to say that I now have my own practice in Polarity Therapy/Energy Medicine. I truly enjoy working together with my clients and helping them to engage in healthier lifestyles. I find great personal satisfaction when client’s symptoms are reduced / dissipated and overall health and wellbeing improves. I love this work and the phenomenal results I have seen. It is something I will do forever!

The health care system today continues to be unbalanced. We instruct patients to take this pill and do this treatment, but the medical professional forgets to ask the important question …’how do you feel about all this?’ So, when I became a nurse, I knew I needed to include the patients’ thoughts and feelings about their treatments so that they would receive the best healing possible.
Being an oncology nurse I see sadness, fear, uncertainty and scared family and friends. Being a Registered Polarity Practitioner I can coach and guide people in how to stay in control at a time in their lives when chaos is coming at them from every direction.
Life continues to be a wonderful journey in my nursing practice. Integrating a holistic approach to helping people understand their treatment will be successful only with their full participation.
