Elemental Reflexology™Reflexology is a system of applying pressure to certain points on the hands, feet and ears. While the art of reflexology dates back to Ancient Egypt, India and China, Ear Nose and Throat Dr. William H. Fitzgerald introduced the concept to the modern world in 1915. American physiotherapist Eunice Ingram further developed this into what is now known as reflexology, which focuses on "reflex" areas that correspond to specific organs, glands, and other parts of the body. This complementary therapy works on the feet, hands and ears to help heal the whole person not just the prevailing symptoms. Elemental Reflexology™, integrates the ancient art of Ayurvedic reflexology with the modern energetic principles of Polarity. Program DescriptionPolarity Therapy was developed by Randolph Stone, DO, DC, ND, who conducted a thorough investigation of energy in the healing arts. His work was based in part in Ayurvedic Medicine which categorizes energy patterns within a five element system. What distinguishes Elemental Reflexology™ is its foundation in the assessment and balancing of the five elements. Class charts show Ayurvedic reflex points organized and color-coded by the elements, providing a detailed and easy-to-learn system for becoming a skilled Elemental Reflexology Practitioner. In addition to classes, students practice bodywork during practice sessions, on each other as part of their training, and on clients in a faculty-monitored clinical setting. Classes are held at both our Columbus and Cleveland campuses. Elemental Reflexology™ Includes:
